Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Endeavour Recruitment Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for material handling systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop mechanical aspects of material handling systems, including conveyor systems, under the guidance of senior engineers.
  2. Generate unit cycle times, system throughput, and dimensional requirements to meet project specifications.
  3. Create installation files and documentation for site supervisors and installation teams.
  4. Assist in risk assessments and document operating and maintenance instructions as required.
  5. Liaise with sales, project, and production teams to ensure successful project execution.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the materials handling industry.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary and Benefits

An estimated salary range for this position is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and flexible working hours.
