Interior Design Internship Role

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic budding designer to join our dynamic team for a 12-month internship role. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design, the creative process, and design thinking, with a focus on human-centric design, user experience, and sustainable design practices.

The successful candidate will have a hunger to learn and a desire to gain experience in the interior design industry, including contributing to diverse projects with a primary focus on Hospitality Retail and Mixed-Use Design. A recent graduate or previous creative interior design experience is preferred.

Through this internship, you will gain exposure to various sectors and project stages, helping you grow into a strong creative team member able to contribute to delivering interior design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project teams with idea development and generation.
  • Contribute to information production, including 2D drawing packages, furniture and finishes schedules, 3D modeling, CGIs, and presentations.
  • Develop knowledge of materials, fixtures, and furniture, and associated suppliers.
  • Carry out research to ensure materials and products selected are fit for purpose.
  • Deliver high-quality design work in line with the brief set and share creative and innovative thinking throughout the project.
  • Actively seek inspiration and reference from sources outside the business to support creative design solutions.

  • Provide support to the design team, understanding project pressures and needs.
  • Have an agile approach to team working, demonstrating a positive attitude towards work, responding positively to feedback.
