Job Title: Sample Collector Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sample Collector to join our team on an ad-hoc basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing professional hair, blood, and DNA sample collection services to clients in Telford and surrounding areas.


Responsibilities:
  • Collect high-quality samples from clients in a safe and healthy environment.
  • Maintain the company's quality management system and contribute to achieving ISO17025 accreditation.
  • Ensure all collections are conducted with the utmost professionalism and adherence to regulations.

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid full UK driving license and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in phlebotomy post-qualification.
  • Previous experience in collecting hair and DNA samples (in-house training is provided).

Working Conditions:
  • Assignments will typically take place within a 2-hour radius of the collector's home address by car.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided as needed.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination is mandatory for blood sample collection.

Additional Information:
  • An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
  • The working hours will be day shifts, Monday to Friday.

Estimated Salary: £25 per collection.
