Support Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at SeeAbility. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily support with personal care, laundry, meal preparation, medication administration, and other essential tasks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the individuals we support, understanding their needs, preferences, and goals.
- Take ownership of ensuring the highest quality of care and support, promoting independence, and empowering individuals to make informed decisions.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of the individuals we support, adhering to our organization's values and principles.
- Collaborate with other agencies, parents, carers, and services to ensure person-centered care and support.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of records and support plans, and function as a Key Worker when required.
- Support individuals to maintain a clean and safe living environment, tailored to their individual needs.
- Participate in regular and ongoing training, relevant to the needs of the individuals we support.
- Calming and patient demeanor, with the ability to remain composed in challenging situations.
- Resilience and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to drive and possess a consistent approach to assisting individuals with their daily needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals, families, and colleagues.
