Risk Management Professional

We are seeking an experienced Credit Risk Team Leader to join our team at People Solutions. As a Credit Risk Team Leader, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining customer credit accounts, working with our credit insurance provider, and ensuring the successful collection of cash and reduction of aged debt.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain customer credit accounts within agreed limits, ensuring timely payments and minimizing bad debt.
- Collaborate with our credit insurance provider to review credit worthiness of new and existing customers, and report on overdue accounts to ensure prompt action.
- Ensure the successful collection of cash and reduction of aged debt, in line with business targets and financial goals.
- Manage the planning and release of customer orders subject to credit limit restrictions, ensuring seamless order fulfillment.
- Conduct bad debt provision and ledger maintenance, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Produce detailed and timely reports and analysis relating to short-term cash-flow, uninsured and overdue debt, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Experience working within a busy Credit Risk position, with a proven track record of success.
- Solid understanding of financial principles and practices, with a focus on credit risk management.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and reporting.
- Hold a degree within a quantitative business discipline such as finance, accounting, or economics, with a focus on credit risk management.
- Member of the Institute for Credit Management, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
