About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Male Community Support Specialist to join our Mental Health Enablement Service in Enfield. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a positive impact on individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide intensive, short-term support to individuals in their homes and within the community, helping them achieve personalized outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver resettlement and outreach services, as well as support access to employment, education, and leisure opportunities.
  • Contribute to the Drop-In service, offering advice, information, advocacy, and support, while fostering community links.
Requirements:

This post requires a male worker to provide a service that caters to individuals requesting male support workers or those where allocated female staff is deemed inappropriate due to risk of abuse.

The successful candidate will be a driver with a full UK driving license, and will have access to a pool car.

You will work as part of a supportive team, receiving induction, supervision, and training to ensure your success in this role.
