Job Overview

Redstone Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Green Trader to join our team in London. As a key member of our commodities search team, you will be responsible for trading carbon and other green certificates on our Green desk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate commercial opportunities to drive revenue growth and maximize profits.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the EU market, including trading houses, producers, and utilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Report to our Managing Director and contribute to the overall success of our commodities search business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in trading within the European market.
  • Proven experience in trading carbon and/or green certificates (GOO's, I-REC's, etc).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, with any additional languages an advantage.
  • Located in or willing to relocate to London.
