We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process for our clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and maintain payroll processing systems
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, bonuses, benefits, attachments of earnings, taxes, and other deductions
- Process new employees, leavers, and changes in pay rates
- Analyze payroll systems and processing software to identify areas for improvement
- Manage fleet vehicles and fuel cards
- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably in a large weekly/monthly industry
- Authority on payroll policy and systems
- Ability to manage a team of direct reports
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Enhanced annual leave (increasing with service to 30 days plus bank holiday)
- Performance-based incentives and bonuses
