Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Development Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing control systems, PLCs, and HMI/SCADA software, including amendments and upgrades to existing system software.

A successful Control Systems Development Expert will be responsible for the full life cycle delivery of projects, from design to commissioning. They will work closely with clients to discuss project requirements, develop innovative solutions, and ensure technical compliance and quality standards are met.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension scheme, holiday allowance, private health insurance, and access to our Training Hub and wellbeing programme.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems, PLCs, and HMI/SCADA software
  • Ensure technical compliance and quality standards are met
  • Work closely with clients to discuss project requirements and develop innovative solutions
  • Lead project teams and coordinate commissioning activities
Requirements:
  • Strong background in designing control systems, PLCs, and HMI/SCADA software
  • Experience in producing project documentation
  • Competence in programming PLCs like Siemens, Rockwell, or Mitsubishi AND/OR competence in programming SCADA systems like Siemens, Rockwell, or Wonderware HMI/SCADA platforms
  • UK Sites commissioning experience
  • Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications
  • Clean UK Driving License
