About the Job
This role is designed to promote and enhance community benefits and social value across our client's construction projects. As a dedicated social value coordinator, you will play a key part in fostering partnerships between the company, local communities, and other stakeholders. Your contributions will help shape the social value strategy, informing business decisions and ensuring the delivery of high-impact initiatives.

Your Key Objectives
- Deliver successful social value initiatives through collaborative working with project teams and external partners. Monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and recommend adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct thorough research on local community groups, third-sector organisations, and relevant Council strategies. Utilise this information to inform tender submissions, presenting compelling arguments for collaboration and partnership opportunities.
- Embed social value principles into project frameworks, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Present insights and recommendations to the team, leveraging your knowledge of industry developments and trends.
- Design and disseminate engaging marketing materials for social value initiatives, amplifying their reach and visibility across social media platforms and other channels.

Key Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in social value coordination or a related field within the construction industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive strategic decision-making
- Effective communicator and relationship-builder, capable of collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in IT applications (Microsoft Office) and familiarity with social media platforms

Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
