Job Overview

Connex Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant to join our vibrant Primary School in Grantham. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to students in Key Stage 1 and 2.

Salary Information

The salary for this role is between £400-£550 per week, with pay rates dependent on qualifications and recent experience.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who can facilitate learning through play and small group interventions for pupils requiring additional help. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general classroom support for all pupils in KS1 and KS2.
  • Facilitating learning through play and small group interventions for pupils requiring additional help.

Our ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills and be able to meet high standards and match ambitious expectations alongside the staff and governors.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years.
  • Willingness to support on a 1:1 basis or work in small groups with children.
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to process a new one.
