Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise lifting operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement lifting plans, taking into account site conditions, equipment availability, and personnel safety.
  • Collaborate with construction managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of lifting operations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of lifting operations, including lift plans, safety inspections, and incident reports.
  • Provide training and guidance to site personnel on lifting operations, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in construction supervision, with a focus on lifting operations and safety management.
  • Proven track record of ensuring safe and efficient execution of lifting operations.
  • Strong understanding of lifting practices, crane operations, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CPCS A 61 - Crane Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) certification.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and other construction software.
  • Experience with lifting operations in a variety of environments, including construction sites and industrial settings.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent travel to construction sites. The successful candidate will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
