Role Overview:

Pink Tile Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Year 4 class, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and contributing to their academic and personal growth.

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to develop and implement tailored interventions for students with special educational needs.
  • Assist students in developing social skills, emotional resilience, and confidence in the classroom.
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working with students with special educational needs and challenging behavior in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Flexibility and proactivity, able to adapt methods and strategies as student needs evolve.
  • A DBS check registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, SEN, or child development are desirable but not essential.
Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time role, working term time only. You will be expected to work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with special educational needs.
