Profit Protection Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Profit Protection Analyst to join our team at Halfords. As a key member of our Profit Protection team, you will play a critical role in supporting the reduction of Company losses and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced data analysis skills to identify trends and patterns in loss data, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Develop and maintain accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement enhanced reports and system improvements.
- Manage Halfords' annual stocktake programme, including reporting of losses, scheduling of annual stocktakes, and liaison with external stocktake providers and Halfords IT department.
- Provide supporting information on store-specific losses and fraud cases to the Profit Protection field team and Fraud Investigators.
- Attend key Profit Protection and Finance meetings to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies in large data samples.
- Proficiency in SAP BW, Excel, MS Office 365, Alteryx, SQL, and Power BI.
- Experience in Support Centre and Store environments, with a strong understanding of Data Mining technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High levels of personal integrity, with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
