Job Title: Workshop Foreman

UPS is seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Foreman to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our Automotive facility, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the shop, ensuring that our package fleet is maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of mechanics to ensure efficient and effective vehicle maintenance
  • Implement and maintain our proven maintenance methods and practices
  • Work with the team to ensure vehicles are safe and compliant with all legislation
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and stock control

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in vehicle mechanics
  • Experience of working with commercial vehicles, including LGVs
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • Able to work on own initiative and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Full UK driving license held for at least 2 years
  • An LGV Class 1 license would be an advantage but is not essential
