About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Mentor to join our team at GSL Education. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing students' understanding and mastery of specific subjects by providing personalized instruction and support tailored to their individual learning needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized tutoring sessions to students in various subjects.
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans based on individual student needs.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Assist with homework and exam preparation.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Tutor or in a similar educational role.
  • Strong knowledge of the subjects you will be tutoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or tutoring are desirable.
