Job Summary:
The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring a positive and proactive approach to Health, Safety, and Environment throughout the business, working closely with the Test operation and overseeing office and remote working across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor Health and Safety processes and standards
- Support communication and training, as well as analysing and communicating key health and safety data and learning to underpin continuous improvement
- Support the Test operation through a period of change and health and safety improvements
- Undertake Risk Assessments, including COSHH and Fire
- Plan and deliver H&S training
- Undertake work-based risk assessments, H&S inspections, and audits
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar kind of Health and Safety role, especially in Test or Construction Materials related
- Knowledge covering a wide range of H&S legislation
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
What We Offer:
The successful candidate will have sole responsibility for Health and Safety in a fast-paced UKAS accredited Test environment, and will be given every opportunity to implement and oversee new HSE initiatives to improve Health and Safety across the business.
