Job Overview

Aptean is seeking a skilled Software Implementation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for delivering our Integreater software suite into food manufacturing environments.

Our modular food planning, ERP, MES, and specialist sector software streamlines supply chains, increases operational efficiencies, reduces waste, and improves profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Site Preparation, Planning, and Delivery Documentation
  2. Functional Requirement Documentation
  3. Configuring Software and Hardware to meet individual client requirements
  4. Software and Hardware Installation and Testing
  5. Production and Delivery of User Training, including Documentation and sign off
  6. Bespoke Business Development/Project Management for both existing and potential new client intakes
  7. SQL database production and maintenance, with bespoke SSRS client reporting
  8. Assisting Process Mapping and Continuous Improvement to aid streamlining the delivery process
  9. Highlighting any project issues to the SI Management Team as soon as they may arise
  10. Assisting communication between client and various company stakeholders/departments to ensure a positive customer experience – including support handovers, development requirement tracking, and helping manage software delivery deadlines
Requirements
  1. Confident, self-motivated, and disciplined
  2. Degree educated or relevant experience
  3. Use of Windows 7 and above
  4. Experienced with MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
  5. Ability to communicate effectively with various business levels, both internally and externally
  6. Coding of T-SQL queries and use of Stored Procedures / Functions is advantageous
  7. Knowledge of Project Management Methodology is an advantage
  8. An ability to manage your own time effectively
  9. Experience of Food Processing facilities and practices would be an advantage
