Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise audit engagements from start to finish.
- Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance.
- Prepare and present reports that reflect the audit's results.
- Coach junior members of the audit team.
- Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee.
- Document audit processes and findings.
- Conduct follow-ups on audits to ensure recommended actions have been implemented.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Requirements
A successful Senior Audit professional should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant qualifications such as ACCA, ACA.
- Proven experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of audit techniques and standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
