Production Coordinator

This is a pivotal position within our Production department, reporting directly to the Production Manager and working closely with Engineering and Supply Chain teams. As a Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of orders from processing to despatch, contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and run weekly production meetings to ensure seamless communication and coordination among teams.
- Maintain accurate dates on our ERP system to drive Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ensure timely production.
- Review and correct production hours bookings to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime.
- Report and review daily, weekly, and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on manufacturing performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Create and schedule works orders with input from Production, Engineering, and Purchasing teams to ensure efficient production planning.
- Work closely with Supply Chain to maintain adequate levels of inventory and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Liaise with Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality Assurance departments to resolve logistic issues affecting output and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform general administration duties as directed by the Production Manager to support the team's efforts.
- At least three years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a production planning or coordination role.
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical fitting, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and ability to use MS Office, including Power BI.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
