Job Summary

We are seeking a senior building surveyor to manage commissions, including surveys, dilapidation advice, and party wall advice, across the North of England. The successful candidate will have experience in managing projects from feasibility through to design, contract administration, and handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support business unit directors in delivering business objectives
  • Engage with customers and develop, grow, and maintain customer relationships
  • Deliver high-quality services and ensure that building surveying deliverables meet customer requirements
  • Manage projects to deliver high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with business procedures
  • Manage building surveying commissions, including surveys, dilapidation advice, party wall advice, and construction projects for new builds, renovations, and maintenance works
Requirements
  • Sound building surveying experience post MRICS qualification
  • Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiating skills, financial, and numeracy management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lead teams
