About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to join our team at our Stafford depot. As a key member of our Transport department, you will be responsible for managing health and safety functions, supervising staff, and ensuring a safe working environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Lead collaborative health and safety projects, both on-site and as part of Wincanton group initiatives.
  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance on health and safety matters to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve health and safety arrangements through regular audits and reviews.
  • Plan and organize work systems to reduce health and safety risks.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Health and Safety professional to make a real impact in our Transport department.

The successful candidate will have a NEBOSH certificate level or equivalent qualification, relevant H&S management experience, and excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
