Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and type up legal documents and correspondence, including bills of costs and completion statements.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the Land Registry Direct system application forms.
  • Complete Local Authority, Chancel, and other relevant pre-exchange searches with accuracy.
  • Progress conveyancing transactions efficiently, accurately, and timely, adhering to legal requirements.
  • Assist other fee earners as needed.
  • Provide end-to-end administrative and clerical support on conveyancing transactions.
  • Maintain up-to-date documents and files.
  • Ensure a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling client matters and information.
  • Respond to client inquiries, including telephone calls.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in conveyancing, property law, and legal document preparation is essential.
  • Knowledge of relevant conveyancing software and tools.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships with people internally and externally.
