About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Doubletree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for contributing to the production of high-quality food items in accordance with instructions from the Sous Chef and/or the Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be knowledgeable of the day's business, including reservations and outside events that may impact the business.
  • Be familiar with the menu and any specials of the day.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion and to the approved standard of presentation.
  • Avoid unnecessary wastage and observe proper portion planning and control.
  • Ensure excellent food hygiene practice is observed in the entire food chain.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety guidelines and report any issues as appropriate.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior members of the kitchen team.
