Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Freedom Leisure. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the preventative planned maintenance (PPM) and repair of plant and equipment, including fixtures and fittings.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role or industry, with a general maintenance/repair skill set. Knowledge of wet and dry side plant rooms is advantageous, as you will be responsible for keeping our pools operational.

You will work independently, completing and updating technical records, undertaking repairs as necessary, and being available to work outside of business hours on occasion. Experience or knowledge in spa pool operations and minor plumbing or electrical repairs would be beneficial but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and operate all building services.
  • Take responsibility for the preventative planned maintenance (PPM).
  • Work as part of a team or on own initiative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service ethics.
  • Ability to work at weekends and overnight where necessary.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with an essentially non-technical user base.
  • High level of responsibility, flexibility, enthusiasm, and motivation.
  • Mobility to travel across sites.
