Job Summary

BT Security is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our DDoS security team, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting BT's DDoS platform for our own redside applications, as well as collaborating with our commercial DDoS team to deliver DDoS solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing 3rd Line support via On-Call during incidents
  • Leading and delivering large technical projects
  • Configuring and maintaining BT's Sightline Deployment consisting of Arbor Leaders, Customer Portals, TRA's (Collectors) and TMS.
  • Responsible for configuring and troubleshooting the following network services running on the Sightline platform; AAA, SMTP, DNS, NTP, configuration of platform backup/restore
  • Responsible for change management on the Arbor Sightline deployment.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) - MANDATORY
  • Advanced hands-on networking & security implementation experience - MANDATORY
  • Advanced understanding of TCP/IP and network protocols - MANDATORY
  • Excellent communication skills - able to adapt technical communication style to audience - MANDATORY
