Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging Science lessons that meet the needs and abilities of students, fostering their intellectual and personal development.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to students, promoting a love for science and nurturing their curiosity.
  • Plan and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance students' understanding and enjoyment of Science, utilizing modern technology to optimize learning outcomes.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, offering regular feedback to students and parents to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives, promoting interdisciplinary learning and critical thinking.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events, staying updated with the latest educational trends and best practices.

About the Role

The successful candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with specialization in Science or a related field. Prior experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting is highly desirable, as well as a genuine passion for Science education and a commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives.

A competitive salary package, reflecting market rates in the region, includes a comprehensive remuneration offer of £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
