Job Title: Production Manager – Scheduling

We are looking for a seasoned professional to manage production at our client's plant ensuring all work is delivered on time in full. You will be managing forward loads and ensuring capacity planning is accurate and in accordance to the site's needs.

The key tasks are:

  1. To ensure scheduling is up to date with any work and that all jobs are accurately planned to completion on or before delivery dates.
  2. To review the department operating procedures and continuously improve its performance.
  3. To identify and resolve any departmental needs, both technology-wise and staffing levels.
  4. To monitor workload and advise on capacity constraints and the need to load balance/outwork – Identify with scheduling to outwork when necessary.
  5. To build relationships with outworkers and identify periods to prebook outwork capacity in the peak periods.
  6. To work with I.T and the MIS system to build capacity reports and chair morning production meetings with management and scheduling teams to discuss current and future production.
  7. To report and discuss findings with bind sites and agree schedule amendments where necessary.
  8. To liaise with all management on requirements.

This role calls for a top-level multi-tasker who works well under pressure.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum based on experience.
