Technical Manager - Facilities Management
An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join our team at Carbon 60 as a Technical Manager - Facilities Management. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the operational excellence of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the interpretation of RBI assessments, reports, and future RBI inspection plans, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
- Manage and maintain compliant statutory systems, including PSSR and LOLER delivery, and conduct regular inspections.
- Attend and facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with clients to update them on inspection status and planning.
- Implement and update PSSR, LOLER, and RBI WSE, ensuring certification and compliance.
- Report on inspection findings and organize site preparation works with team leaders and RBI installation teams.
- Engage proactively in capital projects and site minor works, reviewing associated handover documentation.
- Collaborate with technical managers and engineers to set and deliver inspection engineering standards, training requirements, and competency standards.
- Assist in preparing specialist inspection and NDT methodologies, estimates, and quotations as required.
- Develop and maintain inspection instructions and related documents to support statutory inspection and RBI compliance.
- Review statutory compliance EAM work orders against inspection dates and identify assets and serial numbers.
- Approve work orders, permits to work, and IOR for replacement parts and third-party services as needed.
Requirements:
- HNC level in mechanical, building services, or a related field.
- Experience in NDT and mechanical inspections, encompassing PSSR, LOLER, and RBI.
- Knowledge of insurance inspection procedures, including documentation requirements for PSSR and LOLER.
- Experience with inspection software systems.
- Technical ability to analyze complex data, provide evidence-based recommendations, and deliver on target.
