We are seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to join our team at the University System of New Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, planning, and conducting information systems and security audits, as well as providing consultations throughout the USNH.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and Plan Audits: Develop and implement audit plans, identify audit objectives and scope, and determine and assess risks.
- Conduct Audits and Consultations: Perform information security audits, security reviews, and consultations within USNH, including the assessment of IT risks and identification of objectives and scope of each review.
- Prepare Reports and Presentations: Prepare well-written reports for communication to management and make initial presentations to appropriate personnel.
- Assist in Risk-Focused Audit Planning: Participate in risk-focused audit planning conversations with USNH/Campus CIOs and other relevant managers, identifying and prioritizing IT and IS elements of the plan.
- Promote Professional and Ethical Behavior: Demonstrate commitment to the vision and goals for the IA function by providing a model of professional and ethical behavior to IA staff and customers.
- Bachelor's Degree: In a field determined to be appropriate by the hiring department, such as business, accounting, computer science, auditing, or a related field.
- Professional Certification: CISA or equivalent.
- Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and understanding of risks and internal controls, COSO framework, IT business processes, and professional auditing standards.
