Deputy Harbour Master Job Description

This Deputy Harbour Master will be responsible for assisting the Harbour Master in the day-to-day management of marine operations at HPC. The successful candidate will have previous experience in harbour marine operations and be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Harbour Master in the day-to-day management of marine operations.
  • Organise and conduct regular marine safety exercises with contractors and external agencies.
  • Liaise with onsite contractors and local stakeholders to ensure compliance with Oil Spill Contingency Plans.
Requirements
  • Previous harbour marine operations experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of PMSC compliant marine operations.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £185-240 per day, PAYE Contract or £280-350 per day via approved umbrella. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including 36 days paid leave and the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects.
