Software Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our fast-growing software house in Chester. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking project and contribute to the development of a leading industry player.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a newly built development team, implementing brand new requirements to extend the core capabilities of our platform. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OOP Principles and Design Patterns, MVC Framework, Server Side JavaScript, Git, Linux Shell, SQL / NoSQL, and API Development.

Key skills required for the role include:

  • Proficiency in OOP Principles and Design Patterns
  • Experience with MVC Framework
  • Strong knowledge of Server Side JavaScript
  • Proficient in Git
  • Experience with Linux Shell
  • Understanding of SQL / NoSQL
  • API Development skills

Desirable skills include:

  • PHP
  • Typescript
  • AWS
  • SOLID Principles
  • Passionate about learning new technologies
  • Financial services experience

The salary for this role is up to £50,000 depending on experience, and includes a great benefits package, including share options, pension, option to buy or sell holidays, private medical and more.

This role offers hybrid working, 2 days in office and 3 days remote, making it commutable from Wrexham, Warrington, Liverpool, North Wales and Runcorn.
