About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Hosting and Digital Workplace to drive the evolution of our IT services across on-premise and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of skilled solution engineers responsible for supporting and developing LGC's IT infrastructure.
  • Define our future hosting strategy, with a strong emphasis on cloud adoption and optimization.
  • Improve our approach to hosting and cloud services by planning and developing strategies that align with our business needs and technological advancements.
  • Drive automation through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), adopt standard practices for FinOps, and establish robust governance for all IT services.
  • Enhance our Digital Workplace with technologies like M365, Windows 10/11, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Collaborate on business projects requiring cloud services, from requirements gathering to solution design and implementation.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in leading globally dispersed teams to deliver IT services and solutions.
  • Extensive experience in cloud computing, including architecture, migration, and security.
  • Strong expertise in cloud governance, strategy development, and FinOps.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of technologies, including AWS, Azure, M365, Terraform, VMware, and Citrix.
  • Superb communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior partners and inspire change.
  • A proactive, collaborative leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
