Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Nicholas Associates. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of worn parts
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults on production equipment
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Participate in shift handovers and provide technical support to production staff
- Respond to breakdowns to minimize disruption to production

Requirements:
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Technical Expertise: Balanced skill set in electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotational shifts
