RWE Offshore Wind GmbH Overview:

We are expanding our Technical Contracting team and seeking a seasoned contract specialist to support WTG Foundation contracts worldwide.

Job Description:

  • Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate technical aspects of WTG Foundation contracts, including annexes for wind offshore projects globally
  • Serve as the technical lead during negotiations for contractual terms and bridge different departments to ensure their input is considered in the contracts
  • Gather and implement information from other departments to update annexes for new projects and markets, such as APAC and USA
  • Evaluate offers, identify deviations, and ensure that concessions made during negotiations align with company policies and standards
  • Manage, track, and improve existing technical contracts, handling amendments/terminations, capturing lessons learned, and implementing them
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure correct implementation and interpretation of existing contracts, providing support during due diligence phases and claims processing
  • Act as in-house counsel for technical contracting throughout project timelines, directly interfacing with project teams during preparation and execution phases

Your Profile:

  • Degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering, renewable energies, or a related field of study
  • 5-7 years of experience in relevant fields, possessing expertise in Project Management, Contract and Requirements Management, and broad-ranging experience across design, build, and operational phases of wind farm components
  • Experience drafting, managing, and tracking technical contracts, along with general understanding of project management, asset financing, and project development mechanics
  • Familiarity with offshore wind operations, on-site experience welcome
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, ability to negotiate effectively, and openness to additional languages
  • Careful and precise work approach, team-oriented mindset, and adaptability to international diverse environments
  • Proficiency in MS Office software suite

Salary Information:

We offer an attractive salary range of €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, reflecting the complexities and requirements of this role.
