Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Aurora Eccles and White House Schools in Quidenham, Norwich. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the school, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dusting and polishing surfaces
  • Maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen areas
  • Vacuuming and washing floors
  • Tidying up rooms and common areas
  • Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
  • Reporting any necessary repairs or maintenance issues
  • Keeping bathrooms stocked and clean
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste

Requirements

  • Good level of fitness and ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment
  • Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative
  • Demonstrable attention to detail and pride in work
  • Ability to recognise the need for confidentiality and maintain confidentiality
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with colleagues and students
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Understanding of principles of Health and Safety and ability to follow procedures
