At WSP Global Inc., we are seeking a talented IT Category and Procurement Manager to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per annum.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading sourcing strategies for IT within the UK and EMEA regions, with potential opportunities for global scope. This includes working closely with the Head of UK Procurement to drive synergy projects across acquisitions undertaken by the business.

This role sits within a broader Sourcing Function aiming to add quality and value, contribute to operating margin, and reduce the overall cost base within the business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing the Category Management team within and outside the business.
  • Overseeing the design and delivery of Category Strategies.
  • Stakeholder engagement to ensure procurement is involved in a strategic capacity with all significant procurement activity from the very beginning.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT procurement, including negotiating software, services, and hardware agreements. They should also possess demonstrable knowledge of owning supplier management and performance, as well as project management skills, including cross-functional team management.
