Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading freight business in Nottingham to find a Group Procurement Manager for a full-time, permanent position.

The Group Procurement Manager will be responsible for maximizing efficiency and contributing to business results by procuring goods and services, identifying supplier sources, and negotiating terms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage stakeholders across the business, coordinate projects, and work cross-functionally to set and deliver on agreed timescales.
  • Work with internal customers to ensure inputs needed for the Procurement function are available.
  • Ensure Procurement policy is adhered to within Procurement and promote it around the business.
  • Develop, implement, and refresh category plans to examine the marketplace and identify savings.
  • Tender, evaluate, and negotiate long-term supply contracts with terms and conditions.
  • Negotiate and implement contract variations to protect budgets.
  • Ensure on-time delivery in full to agreed plans.
  • Monitor and improve supplier delivery, quality, and cost performance.
  • Launch price enquiries with suppliers against new bids.
