Commercial Project Coordinator

Contract Scotland is seeking a Commercial Project Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis in Beauly. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading specialist in high voltage cabling and contribute to the commercial aspects of projects within the power sector.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or HND equivalent in Quantity Surveying and previous experience on large-scale civil engineering or renewable projects. Experience working with High Voltage cabling is advantageous. The role involves managing the commercial aspects of projects, collaborating with project teams, conducting thorough cost analysis, administering contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the commercial aspects of projects within the power sector, ensuring cost control and adherence to budgets.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide accurate cost forecasts, financial reports, and procurement strategies.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiencies.
- Administer contracts and manage subcontractor relationships effectively.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters, resolving disputes and mitigating risks.
