We are seeking a highly skilled Registered General Nurse to join our In-Patient Unit team as an End of Life Care Specialist Nurse.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Job Description:

The End of Life Care Specialist Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and delivering end-of-life care to patients with life-limiting illnesses. This will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and providing emotional and psychological support to patients and their loved ones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing care to patients with complex needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care coordination
  • Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and their families

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered General Nurse qualification
  • Experience in palliative care or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
