Purpose and Scope

The Maintenance Engineer role offers a unique opportunity to join a renowned UK manufacturer in the Leominster area. This position entails carrying out predictive and reactive maintenance across the site, supporting project development, and diagnosing mechanical and electrical equipment faults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including PPM and reactive maintenance.
  • Support project development and implementation.
  • Conduct diagnostics on mechanical and electrical equipment to identify and rectify faults.
  • Ensure adherence to HSE guidelines and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role.
  • PLC knowledge, specifically with Siemens S5 and S7 systems.
  • Fanuc Robot experience and familiarity with automation systems.
  • Previous work experience in the food, FMCG, or automotive industry.
