About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Income and Projects Lead to join our Delivery Business Partnering team at NHS Property Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the month-end reporting and consolidation process, overseeing income reporting, and working closely with the Cost and Income lead to deliver high-quality reporting in line with business deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall Delivery monthly analysis and commentary around income, consolidating regional inputs effectively and efficiently to drive insightful and action-focussed reporting.
  • Review and enhance the existing suite of reporting and dashboards to support operational decision making and capture key financial measures.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for designated accounts.
  • Support the Senior Finance Business Partner - Asset Management in developing the Asset Management budget alongside Directors and Principal Property leads.
  • Work with the Corporate Finance team and Business Partner Controller to ensure the financial models are operating correctly and reflecting the current and accurate financial position per cost centre.
  • Communicate with customers (CCGs, NHS England, NHS Trusts, Commercial providers etc.) on the progress of asset schemes, supporting the customers' own financial objectives with high-quality, complex information from NHS PS.
  • Work with the Property Management Accountants and Corporate Finance to ensure an understanding of the rental income position on an ongoing basis and the risks and opportunities expected to materialise against the Asset Management budget.
Requirements
  • Developed financial systems and advanced understanding of financial management and Corporate Finance.
  • Experience of investigation and analysis of financial issues and evidence of detailed and precise report writing.
  • Possess a robust understanding of financial and activity systems (ERP) and the ability to extract, interpret, and manipulate information from them.
  • Confident approach, hardworking, and committed.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritising and delivering to agreed deadlines.
  • CCAB Qualified (ACCA/CIMA etc).
  • Able to communicate to people at all levels of the organisation.
