Job Title: Education Specialist

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Education Specialist to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality education and support to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.

About the Role:

We are looking for an Education Specialist who can provide flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to young people in Oxfordshire.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and experience working with children and young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective educational sessions that meet the needs of each young person
  • Provide regular progress reports and feedback on the young person's learning and development
  • Collaborate with the SEN/SEND Support Team to ensure seamless support for each young person

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with children and young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience of developing and delivering individualized education plans
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Two professional references
