Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmentalist Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our HS&E department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of our Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) strategy across various projects.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to line and site management in the implementation of HS&E programmes and initiatives.

In this role, you will also contribute to the development and maintenance of our HS&E Management System, ensuring alignment with client requirements and our overall strategy. Your expertise will help drive performance through our processes and standards.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, supply chain partners, regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and colleagues, to deliver project lifecycle activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of our HS&E strategy across various projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to line and site management in the implementation of HS&E programmes and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our HS&E Management System.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver project lifecycle activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, health and safety, or a related discipline).
  • NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate (or working towards one).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with HS&E management systems and regulations.
