Job Title: Project Director

 

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team at Matchtech. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading projects through every stage of the project life cycle, from planning to delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all project deliverables, deadlines, and client expectations are met, aligned with contractual obligations.
  • Actively seek to increase contract value and benefits through the contracts change management process.
  • Lead project planning sessions to set clear project goals and objectives, determine timelines, define tasks, and outline resources necessary to successfully complete the project.
  • Monitor the progress of projects, including addressing issues that may arise and ensuring project deliverables are completed to specification, on time, and within budget.
  • Use an appropriate tracking tool to coordinate different elements of the project.
  • Follow standard processes as defined by the company.
  • Organise regular status and review meetings as necessary, including generating and distributing meeting minutes.
  • Develop and analyse data to prepare accurate financial forecasts and reports.
  • Gather resources, identify potential constraints based on activities and timeframes, and define solutions to manage any constraints identified.
  • Implement a relevant risk management plan to minimise foreseeable disruptions.
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
  • Maintain adherence to company style and branding in all outgoing communications.
  • Report regularly to management and relevant stakeholders on the progress of the project, challenges, resolutions, and alterations.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree within a technical, business, or project management field.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience delivering projects within a technical environment.
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
  • Must be willing to travel on occasion.
  • Expertise within PM software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
  • Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to present technical and complex information clearly and concisely at a level appropriate to the target audience.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
