We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Year 1 class at a Good primary school in Gloucester. As a key member of the teaching team, you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning and development.

Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils reach their learning goals.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence and engagement.
  • Monitor and support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in a UK school, ideally in a primary school setting.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 1 (KS1).
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
Benefits

This Teaching Assistant position offers a competitive salary of approximately £19,000-£22,000 per annum based on working five days a week for a full school year. Additional benefits include:
