Career Development Specialist

In this dynamic role, you will be part of the supported employment team at Hft in North Wales, providing on-the-job employment support for individuals with learning disabilities.
About the JobAs a Career Development Specialist, you will work intensively with individuals to develop their skills and secure paid employment. You will provide innovative support to help them build skills for employment, develop their CVs, and progress into paid work.
You will be responsible for enabling people to:
- Develop relevant skills for employment
- Gain work experience in a large business
- Increase their independence
- Achieve their aspirations
- Be empowered to make decisions and choices around their future employment
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual who can think creatively to meet people's support needs while respecting their individuality.
Your Key Responsibilities- Work closely with colleagues from partner organizations and Hft's Work Options Manager
- Provide high-quality support to individuals in building skills for employment
- Help individuals develop their CVs and gain work experience
As a Career Development Specialist, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:

- 25 days annual leave (increasing to 24 days after 1 year's service)
