Main Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out first and second fixes in bathroom pods and modular pods, utilizing 16mm pipe.
  • Conducting pressure tests on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Reporting quality and design issues to production supervisors.
  • Working towards production targets to meet schedule requirements.
  • Maintaining adherence to health and safety regulations and company risk assessments.
  • Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with company drawings and specifications.
  • Upkeeping housekeeping standards to required levels.
  • Implementing quality systems and checks as per company procedures.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a plumber at a professional level.
  • Awareness of electrical boiler systems.
  • Ability to work with 16mm pipe and crimpers.
  • Capacity to pre-construct pipework from blueprints.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with ability to take direction and ask questions when unsure.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in using power and hand tools.
  • Understanding of technical drawings.
