Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team at Wabtec Corporation. As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects within Manufacturing, taking ownership of delivery, project planning, execution, and cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for turbocharger components and assemblies.
  • Create and maintain supporting documentation, including manufacturing routings, layouts, and instructions.
  • Program and operate multi-axis turning, milling, grinding, and EDM machines.
  • Define, perform, and implement investigations into non-conformance through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Procure jigs, fixtures, tooling, gauging, and lifting equipment.
  • Interface with supporting departments such as Design, Quality, Procurement, and external suppliers.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives.
Requirements
  • Qualification to HNC level or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in a modern manufacturing facility with a good understanding of modern machining techniques and problem-solving techniques.
  • Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing techniques and processes.
  • Computer/ software literacy.
