Environmental Operations Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join Aberdeen City Council as an Environmental Operations Coordinator.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to undertake a variety of duties concerned with environmental operations, including general gardening and street sweeping work, and horticultural work of a specialist nature in public parks, playing fields, cemeteries, landscaped areas, public open spaces, public roads, amenity areas, and housing estates.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake individually or as a member of a team a range of duties to maintain public spaces and facilities;
- Operate vehicles safely and efficiently;
- Maintain accurate records and reports;
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to achieve shared goals;
- Full Class B UK driving licence;
- Physical fitness to undertake the full range of duties of the post;
- Understanding of legal requirements, constraints, and compliances for driving vehicles;
- Basic Health and Safety Legislation and safe working practices;
